Students from the English Language Education Study Program showcased their entrepreneurial acumen by actively participating at UNSIKA Entrepreneurship Expo (UNEX) 2025. This annual event, organized by the management study program, faculty of economics and business, took place on Wednesday, May 21, 2025. With the theme “Dari Warisan menjadi Wawasan: Budaya sebagai Inspirasi Bisnis”, the expo brought together dozens of student teams from various departments across university.

UNEX 2025 marked a new chapter, expanding participation to students from diverse disciplines, including those from educational fields. English language education students were prominent contributors, presenting innovative business ideas deeply rooted in the richness of local culture. Their involvement underscores that English language education students are not only equipped with pedagogical and linguistic competencies but also possess significant entrepreneurship driven by creativity and cultural values.

One standout team from the English language education study program exhibited a wide array of products, ranging from digital creations to culinary delights. The products received promising evaluations, particularly in the digital education and conventional markets. Visitors, including faculty members and students, responded positively, commending the originality and relevance of the ideas presented.

The Rector of UNSIKA attended the event, expressing his appreciation for the innovative spirit and cross-program collaboration among students. In his address, he emphasized the critical importance of strengthening soft skills and fostering an entrepreneurial mindset as essential preparation for navigating an increasingly complex and dynamic global landscape. Such inter-faculty participation is expected to continue flourishing, aligning with the implementation of  Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) curriculum, which actively promotes student innovation, collaboration, and self-reliance.
