Karawang, 20 May 2026 — The English Language Education Study Program of Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang (UNSIKA) successfully held a Joint Lecture on Morphosyntax in collaboration with Universitas Musamus Merauke on Wednesday, May 20, 2026. The event was conducted online via Zoom Meeting and brought together students and academic staff from both universities.
The joint lecture was delivered by Dr. Kelik Wachyudi, S.S., M.Hum., a lecturer from the English Language Education Study Program of Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang, alongside Ekfindar Diliana, S.Pd., M.Li., a lecturer from Universitas Musamus Merauke. The collaboration between these two institutions reflects a shared commitment to enriching students' academic experience through inter-university knowledge sharing.
The event was officially opened by the Coordinator of the English Language Education Study Program of Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang, Evi Karlina Ambarwati, S.S., M.Ed., and on behalf of Universitas Musamus Merauke, the opening was represented by Ekfindar Diliana, S.Pd., M.Li. In her remarks, she emphasized the importance of collaborative learning between universities as a means to broaden students' academic perspectives and strengthen inter-institutional relationships.
The event was organized with Kayla Devanya Dalawir serving as Master of Ceremony representing UNSIKA, and Nasyya Aulia Ramadhani representing Universitas Musamus Merauke, while Nayla Lutfi Yandrini acted as the moderator guiding the discussion session throughout the event.
The session aimed to deepen students' understanding of Morphosyntax a branch of linguistics that examines the intersection between morphology and syntax and to provide students from both universities with the opportunity to engage in meaningful academic discourse beyond the boundaries of their respective campuses.
The joint lecture ran smoothly and was well-received by participants from both institutions. Students demonstrated strong enthusiasm throughout the session, actively asking questions and sharing their perspectives on the topic discussed.
Through this collaborative academic activity, the English Language Education Study Program of UNSIKA reaffirms its dedication to fostering meaningful inter-institutional partnerships and expanding the academic horizons of its students.
